What in the wide, Wide World of Sports is going on here?

This year in the SEC has been quite strange hasn't it? It's years like these that keep me humble and remembering I know absolutely nothing about college football. Let me explain. No, there is too much; let me sum up.

Everyone in the SEC East has is technically in the hunt for Atlanta, still, since all have either 2 or 3 losses in conference play.

The Chicken Curse reared it's ugly head again in the land of thoroughbreds. Admit South Carolina fans, you knew it was coming.

Kentucky somehow upset a top 10 team, which was good timing since they are about to forget football with basketball season around the corner.

In true Les Miles fashion, LSU was losing to McNeese St 10-7, before that lucky horseshoe stuck up his butt went to work again. We'll see if Balls can win out in Auburn in a huge matchup Saturday, or if toilet paper will again be thrown.

Georgia has refound their swagger and destroyed the pair of teams from the Land of Hillbillies a combined 84-14.
That's Hill William to you Sir.

Florida has lost 3 straight for the first time since pre-Visor, including a butt whuppin by Bama and a homecoming failure to former OC Dan Mullen and Mississippi St. FIRE MEYER! Or maybe just Steve Addazio.

Alabama lost a regular season game for the first time since 1926.

Arkanas and Auburn pissed on the grave of Joe Lee Dunn, in a game where one Heisman candidate QB got knocked out, and another put his name at the top of the list.

What laptop?

Yep, I've got no clue what's going on right now.

  1. It seems you do know what is going on. Well done. What we have is the worst division by such a large margin, and this with us with 15 seniors and 4-5 juniors leaving after this season. We had a window of opportunity here. A 1-year window quite obviously. We squandered it.

3-4 with a loss to hapless Colorado who lost to the Baylor bears over the weekend, thrown in for good measure.

UGA is not a program that loses to the likes of the vols and Vandie, with those seriously flawed teams in talent.

We are # 8 in The SEC in a division which has zero of the Top 5 teams in it. At least none of the top 4.

Tie-Breaker 3-way says look at head-to-head to break the tie, then revert to 2-way Tie-Breaker Rules for The SEC.

We already lost to South Carolina.

It was a miserable game with no offense, as was obvious to this writer pre-season.

With wins over Vandie and the vols, we are 11-11 vs SEC East over the entire timeframe after the 2005 season : 2006 2007 2008 2009 and 2010.

There has ONLY BEEN 1 TEAM this ENTIRE TIMEFRAME in The SEC East for us to play.

2-7, they have this week off and are preparing for us, it's in JAX we fly they walk over to the Gator Bowl, and all this B.S. about a 3-way tie, leaves me wondering if anyone reads the SEC Tie-Breaker Rules.

    Florida has no offense.

    Guess what ?

    Neither do we.

We have to run the table with this no offense against Auburn, Florida and oh by the way, Kentucky - who is sitting there 2-2 vs CMR the last 4 games a very talented team reading about you UGA Fans BRAGGING that UGA is still in this.

    We aren't.

What is going on here is that in a really sorry division that we could have done well in this 1-year window, we have instead had 11 Arrested and another Two (2) who are in Violation of NCAA illegal benefits - 1 who missed 4 games for $1000 jersey and 1 who took $500 and threatened to publish nude pics and video on the Internet if it was not hushed under the table, and he by the way has started only 2 games all season long at Tailback and we WON those 2 one over LA Lafayette and the other the vols.

    THOSE 2 wins are VACATED.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled effort to diss Kentucky before kick-off talking about how WE are in the race for something this year.

The only thing we are in a race for now, is the MOST players 2010 on 1 team who ruined a season for UGA which had much promise.
