Georgia and Florida in a race to see who can have the fewest scholarships

Goodbye Brent Benedict. Our OL will now rely on a converted DL Justin Anderson and can't have any injuries, with Benedict and Sturdivant sapping depth. Also, Richt just got one more down in his race with Will Muschamp for fewest on scholly this fall.

  1. Just sayin too,
Wasn't having Bean spend last year redshirting as a 3-4 NG such a great idea? I mean, imagine all the valuable knowledge of defensive technique that this notoriously brain dead, and previously incapable of comprehending the offensive playbook, gained in that short time spent with Rodney Garner. It will be well served when he's lining up at RT this fall.

1.No responses so you are responding to your own blog post? -1
2.I remember "SiSiSonofSancho" took exception to my use of "just sayin'" ...look it up. -2

    Poor mouthin’
From the transitive verb: to speak disparagingly of. There now we can truly be friends again.

  3. I can't edit it at work stalker boy, as my work servers and blogspot apparently don't get along.

And yes, you need to learn how to properly use the phrase "just sayin" as you thankfully pointed out here. Throwing it in to every response doesn't make what you're saying any less moronic, nor does your attempt at humor with the Sancho crap.

And yes, I'm "poor moutin" our OL. it's gone from bad (last year) to thinner this year (losing both Ts in Boling, Sturdivant), and now got even thinner (losing Harmon and Benedict). We're back to bare bones on the OL (something Richt said wouldn't happen after the catastrophic situation that led to Bartley Miller and Josh Brock sacrificing their shoulders, but has happened repeatedly since he said that) and relying on a player to start who wasted all of last year on D because he was apparently too stupid to grasp the O after 3 years with the big uglies. I'm sure that year on the D will do him a world of good at RT this fall. Let's just hope big Gates can tell him what to do each and every time like Boling had to do.

  4. that should read "thankfully illustrated here" not pointed out. And your blatantly racist comments are also noted.

I'm not sure Mark Richt would appreciate having a Klansman such as yourself in his corner. Just sayin.

  5. @ Son of Sancho:
In one of your rants you stated that you are no “Senator” or “Bernie” and are not trying to be one. I concurred. However, I wondered about the coincidence of your post concerning the diminishing scholarship athletes at 8:31am on the heels of the good Senators post at 6:12am. In your defense the good Senator did not elect to comment to his own post as you did.
+1 to you for following your own path.

May I share this with you.

“The best place for an actor to search for their character is inside themselves. Some (the bad ones) work from the outside in, looking for some external source to copy, shape and mold. But their performance looks like a performance, a copy of something else and it loses it’s authenticity. Could the same be said of blogging?”

  6. Wow. You didn't just throw that card out there did you? Slippery slope amigo.
"Sánchez or Sanchez is a frequently common Spanish surname. As a patronymic, it means "son of Sancho". The name "Sancho" itself comes from the Basque Santxo."

..and I bet my Spanish is better than yours Erik E. So I see your race card and raise.....

  7. Hooray for google! Anyone smart enough to know the derivation of "Sanchez" should be smart enough to recognize Michigan or Auburn running a spread the last few years. Si, si Senor Homer. You are so smart, S-M-R-T.

And "great minds think alike" is all I can say for any similarities to subject matter between us, the Senator, and Bernie. We noticed the story on scout.com in a morning round, and didn't check either of those sites before heading off to work. Considering all 3 are primarily focused on Georgia football, it's only obvious they'd have similar stories on a Monday when a subject arises like Benedict's departure over the weekend. And the reduced # of scholarships, specifically capable, veteran OL on scholarship is part and parcel with having eyes and the ability to count. So it would most certainly be a "coincidence" as you call it. We aren't dumb enough to think we're an original source for anyone's info. So we try to not be a complete rehash of other's, or a glorified RSS feed (like some other site are) considering most anyone who reads us almost assuredly checks out Get The Picture, Leather Helmet, Dawgsports, among others.

Thanks for your pluses and minuses. We're seriously keeping score, because of course, we'd be nothing if not for our beloved bags of troll douche juice.

  8. "We're seriously keeping score, because of course, we'd be nothing if not for our beloved bags of troll douche juice." I"m sure all your contemporaries are all proud of you. Now .... post it in Spanish, and I shall be good enough to correct it for you. On another note:does Finebaum have a camp that you can go to where you may sharpen these blogging skills? You would never see me posting like this on the Senators blog or Bernies. You know why..... cause they are both very good, fair minded and could kick my azz if I did. Sanchez... I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship

  9. In the words of Roy D Mercer, "Just how big a boy are ya?"

And I'm sure your contempories speak glowingly of how you put rapscallions from Sports and Grits in their place. Kudos to you good chap. Kudos.

  10. Good luck that meme.
    "Eventus stultorum magister."
    just sayin

  11. SiSi....you've been remarkably quiet considering it was you that instigated this.... and Sanchez felt the need to rescue you. Where have you been?
Does this mean we are not friends anymore?
    Vacay?
keep well. I fear my time here is due and I must consider other matters. Its been fun .... I miss the the HS slanders. Is it me or the influence of "my" contemporaries?
Never let oneself be guided by the opinion of one's contemporaries. Continue steadfastly on one's way. And do try a kinder, gentler, approach to Coach Richt. Would you?
    just sayin'

  12. So you bring up how the Senator or Bernie "could kick [your azz]" but can't take an old Roy D Mercer joke and wuss out? Weak Homer. Powerful weak.

As for my PiC, he's probably busy with real life. You know, work, kids, bills, that sort of thing. This was my post, and my play. We are seperate people, are do you need help realizing that fact like you did with what constitutes a spread offense?

Troll hard son. Thanks for playing today Techie; for a Bug, you do have good taste in movie quote it seems.

  14. @ Son of Sancho.
Wow again…..and ok…. Troll , techster, whatever. Ok? We are still good . I want you to know that.
I don’t acknowledge Roy D Mercer …. Pretender. You are familiar with being a pretender…. We have established that already. Jeff Foxworthy doesn’t acknowledge him either but he does praise the Leroy Mercer character. That character "Leroy Mercer" was created in Tennessee by John Bean, who also called individuals and businesses threatening an "ass-whoopin". How big a boy am I? Does it matter …clearly we are on the internet. I’m catching some flack about picking on you so I have to move on. It made good reading for my “contemporaries” on the flight but I get no real credit for it. It’s your fault. A man’s got to know his limitations.
I’m out of pocket for the rest of the week . Try not to miss me. K? Gotta go shuttle leaves for Athens at 10.
I could always give you my seat number for home games if that would help your inner Roy D…. yet I’m sure somewhere I’d be responsible for encouraging more foolishness from you. Live long and prosper young Eeyore Dawg…keep us all humble. ;-)
    Just sayin’

  15. Wikipedia is an amazing thing. Yes, Tech. You come across with all the makings of a "Tech Man" Homer. It's been fun playing; again, anyone who possessed the knowledge you attempt to portray on here wouldn't have been as stupid as to suggest the "non-spread" teams you did the other day. Trademarks of a troll. But we won't miss you, and we were never "good". You've been fun, but I've outgrown you.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Ouch. Oh, come on .. don't be that way. You sound like a chick. Let's play nice. If I have helped you grow then I am honored. You grow up the day you have your first real laugh, at yourself. ...now tell me we're good.
    ;-)

  18. Oh just let it go…. You certainly are comfortable in your skin… haranguing and poor mouthin’ irresponsibly . Please! That whole qatoresque meme following the fire Zook theme was just too much for me. How does it feel to have someone just fuck with you cause they can? Grow a pair! Try and be a little more enlightening and helpful. Quit frettin' about my IQ… geez!

  19. Zook? What is wrong with you boy?

A little senstive about St. Paulie there Homer? Sorry to speak the truth about your coach, but yeah, he'll never have a team like the one Chantastic left him. Your true colors keep shining through bud.
