Are we there yet?

Next week, for the University of Georgia Bulldawgs, is game week. Took long enough. And even better, this week is gameweek for Georgians, as the high school football schedule kicks off this week. Support your local schools, as there will be some amazing action all across the Empire State of the South on Friday night. Wahooo! Game week! It makes me feel like dancing.

GAME WEEK!

  2. CC We got a problem,A GIGANTIC HUMONGIFIED problem! Why the hell am I seeing "Son" on blog after blog!!! That is an exclusive Sports and Grits phrase. Yes The context in which I, use it was stolen from NY Rappers (Yo Son, What it do Son, Wat up Son)for which i may or may nor be sued.Is besides the point that word is to used exclusively for banter between ME and YOU!!! Call our Lawyer right now and sue their butts off (75 for me 25 for you) Here's a word they can come on here and steal "Biter"---someone who steal others lyrics! How many times did you see Son on a Blog before we started using it. I want my money from these Buster's (tell them to look it up)

  3. I must admit that I have noticed an increase in the use of Son in the past few weeks.

However, I think Jerry Reed beat your rappers to the punch by about 20 years.
"Son. When ya' Hot ya' Hot!"

  5. Anon @ 11:34,
It's Fresh Prince of Bel Air (a classic amongst those my age), Parks and Rec (of which that character may be one of the best on TV), and Ace Ventura.
