Ben Dukes has a pretty good article up on not buying in to the Boise hype. We wish we could be as blindly homeristic as him (not that there's anything wrong with that), but us and him are clearly two sides of the bipolar nature of UGA fans.
And Spurrier is back to his old tricks again (note the familiar name in the byline). Getting a backup valuable experience? A quasi suspension, like Spurrier has been made famous for, because of Garcia's past debauchery? A sign the Ol Ball Coach just doesn't trust El Stephano to not put the team in bad spots with fumbles, picks, and his frequent Dr.-Rocco's-Slushie-fueled-decisions? I guess we'll find out the answers to these questions, and several days. Our answer, it's a little from column A, B and C.
This is a great move by Steve Spurrier: gets his QB's playing harder, rewards performance which gets guys giving more effort, takes a stab at Bobo for letting Murray have a pass both Spring's, even tough Murray has tyet to finish a Apring as the TD leader, takes another stab at Richt for naming Murray the seaosn long starter based on a very competitive Spring with Hutson Mason. If Murray wasn't 0-6 against winning teams, sure, Murray gets the nod, but 0-6, losing to Colorado too, nobody's job should be safe, especially Murray's.
