1. Fire Mike Bobo- Even some of the most hardened Disney Dawgs, Pee-Pee Dawgs, and Richt-O-Philles are starting to see the problem. The problems on offense are layered. We are not very good at identifying O-line talent (a problem that was here pre-Bobo as an OC), we may have the worst S&C program in the SEC, and the play calling is all over the board. We have offered Paul Chryst of Wisconsin as a solution to the play calling and O-line issues but we are unsure of the logistics involved in such a deal. Outside of Wisconsin and staying within Richt's Pro-style system we could look at Kevin Roger at Boston College. BC does alright on the O-line side of things. Also, Mike Bloomgren who is the O-Line and running game coord. at Stanford. Additionally, we really fail to understand why we can't consider the man who at one point ran the most balanced and effective offense--arguably in the country, Mike Leach.
2.Hire Rocky Colburn- Colburn is the assistant S&C coach at Alabama and trust me when I tell you he will be running a S&C program somewhere next year. He is currently working at the best program in the SEC and is the best option short of paying to steal another programs S&C coach.
3. Scheduling- We need three things here:
a) Move the South Carolina game to the end of October. We have been a slow starting team under Richt and if (a big if) Richt is still around next year we will most likely continue this trend. SC is the opposite and thus the 2nd game of the season is more competitive than it should be. Although I don't know the logistics of this either and we may have no say in the matter.
b) THREE CUPCAKES EVERY YEAR. No more Boise St, Oklahoma St, I don't even want Clampsun...heck I don't want Duke. I don't understand why we can't play Georgia Southern and Georgia State every year.
c) Go to a home and away with Florida....or at least a Jacksonville/Atlanta trade off. Their are lots of Gator fans in Atlanta so why not make them play us just outside of our home every other year.
4. Hire Ed Orgeron- Now I know I am going to take some heat on this one but hear me out. Orgeron is the best recruiter in the country, he is from the South, he has to understand that Lane Kiffin is going to go down in flames, with Kiffin he is a five alarm red flag but with Richt the NCAA may not pay as much attention. ESPN reported during last night's game that since 07' Georgia has overtaken California for the #3 spot in terms of 4 and 5 star recruits produced. Why not pay the money to bring in a man that could pull in a dream team every year?
5. START OVER SIGNING!
Amazing what an idiot with a computer can come up with. Pathetic.
ReplyDelete-Anon
ReplyDeleteReally? What parts exactly? You see first you are using a non-identifiable posting method and then making a broad sweeping statement with nothing to back that statement up. So I ask you to brings some specifics unless you just want to be dismissed as a complete tool.
Let's do what BC is doing. Great idea.
ReplyDeleteHey Anon, Rogers isn't at BC. So he's not what they're "doing". Although he is a name I'd strongly disagree with CC on.
ReplyDeleteRicht and Coach O hate each other, ain't happening. Couldn't agree more about moving the Carolina game. Wish we could switch them and Vandy.
ReplyDeleteCc is an idiot, little question there. Whenever he gets Patterson's love juice off his chin long enough, he pens his own dribble.
ReplyDeleteOver signing it's illegal, unlike cc... Most dawgs won't be ok with a cheat to win philosophy. Carolina is a tough game, not because we start slow or they fast-- it's because their top 22 can play with anyone but they've never had any depth. By the time they got to UT or UF they were beat up and blown out. Now they have better depth so moving the game won't matter, ask gator fans.
Maybe one day here soon, he'll be late on a payment and Rent a Center will repo his computer relieving us all of stumbling across his drool. It'd make Patterson happy too, more time for cc to focus on his technique.
"Over signing it's illegal"...
ReplyDeleteCause that's why Houston Nutt, Bobby Petrino, Les Miles, Nick Saban, and others are felons on probation? Perhaps you don't know what the word "illegal" means anon.
Hey CCrider what are you smoking these days?
ReplyDeleteDo you get a hard-on at the very mention of Coach Satan's name?
Your an idiot
ReplyDeleteAh the ever elusive Anon.
ReplyDeleteYou would handicap your own program so that you can say in a very smug tone how "Georgia doesn't cheat". While we are light years behind Alabama and LSU. I love the "Oh you get a hard on for Saban". Well you know what I get a hard on for winning and not being a Gamecock fan who talks about moral victories.
Richt hates Orgeron.....where did you get idea from? Do you have a source on that? How about this we have done it with Richt's besties in Martinez and Bobo and where has it gotten us? Where has it gotten Richt? It has gotten him on the hotseat. At this point if Richt wants to stay the HC at Georgia he needs to do it someone else's way.
You ROP's have such air tight logic. Lets review the last 16 months:
1. I say Richt has plateaued and needs to go.
2. ROPs say "You name one coach with as many wins in the same amount of time." This was said because y'all just knew you had that one on lock down.
3. I named someone. Gary Patterson.
4. ROPs come back with weak excuses.
5. I shoot down weak excuses.
6. ROPs become outraged at the very mention of Patterson's name.
7. I take every opportunity to mention Patterson's name.
8. ROPs accuse me of having an obsession with Patterson...Hello pot this is the kettle and you are black.
You ROPs are so pissed that I say anything against the one true Prophet that you don't even really read us. I've been giving you mouth breathers options for keeping your Messiah.
I'm with you CC and anyone who logs on and blast out and insult and chooses to remain anon is a coward and one of the reasons CMR still has a damn job. He should have been fired after last season IMHO. Bobo is a Dodo and needs to go to a FCS school and learn how to coach. He ain't getting it done and at the end of the day CMR is way to soft IMHO. I would love to see him turn this around and stay for another 10 years, but I honestly don't think he has it in him.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it Friend's first year as the OL coach? Wasn't it Grantham's first year as DC last year?
ReplyDeleteJust saying...
How is posting as "anonymous" any different than posting as Birddawg or CC rider? Just because you have a blog, you're no more identifiable than any other idiot with a keyboard.
ReplyDeleteLike anyone knows, or gives a shit, who you are.
I've read this blog once every couple weeks for a while now, usually from links on the dawgbone. It's the same shit, time after time.
And there's only one L in Richt-o-Phile...
Look up some of the stories about Richt and Coach O during the Marlon Brown recruitment or while O was at Ole Miss. It's well known that O dislikes Richt. I assume the feeling is mutual, but you're right: I don't "know" it.
ReplyDeleteI am going to start my own blog and it will be all about CC being on the "hotseat" at Sports and Grits and how he needs to replaced by someone like Chip Towers! We will call his followers CCOP's (CC O Philes).
ReplyDeleteYour blog is a joke dude. The only reason I look at it is because I need a good laugh and just to see some of the stupid shit you write.
5 things that could make this a blog worth a damn:
1. Fire CCRider
2. Hire anyone with a brain
3. Get your mouth off of Patterson's pecker
4. Hire someone with football knowledge
5. START WRITING BETTER SHIT
Well for the 1,000,000 time I don't want your actual name but we have an Anon who posts as if he is 3 to 4 different people and he also has 3 to 4 different blogger names. The only problem is we want something other than Anon so we can know when we are dealing with the same person.
ReplyDeleteComplex thought can be difficult sometimes, I know.
Second, no one likes anyone else when they are competing for the same recruits. Plus Orgeron is beast who hates anyone not on his side.
Third, How are our themes any different than everyone else's themes.....OHHHHHH, that's right we don't fluff Richt's nuts so that makes us guilty of an offense that every other Georgia blog is equally guitly of.
Again for our retarded readers the Patterson thing makes you mad because I destroyed the great "Find soemone with as good a record argument that is a staple of all ROPs". Trust me if Mike Leach or anyone else sent you ROPs over the deep end like Patterson I would be all over that person.
What of my football knowledge questionable? You tell me there John Madden. You wanna debate the finer points? Give me a topic.
You start that Blog Hoss. Then come here in a year and lets compare page view stats shall we.
By having a brain does that mean rank a man's religion as paramount in the hiring process? Does it mean making excuses? Does it mean talking about moral victories like a Gamecock fan? Does it mean supporting someone who is failing at a job?
I love the "I just stumbled over here" or "I don't normally read this blog" you mouth breathers read this blog everyday and our stats show it. You know what I think...I think that 75% of our daily readers are themselves closet case, self loating, ROPs that crave the truth.
Finally, I will spell Richt-O-Phille how ever I want because I invented the term.....your welcome.
1) Give the OL some time to gell as a unit. If they are still having these same issues at the end of the season, then corrective actions need to be taken. They are better now than they were in weeks 1 and 2.
ReplyDelete2) S&C was a problem in years past and it showed. However, it seems to be better now as the team (especially the D) happen to play better in the 3rd and 4th quarter and don't look to winded. We are also playing a lot of Freshmen or Sophmores who have never had this much conditioning in their lives and it will continue to take time to adjust to it. But it is helping.
3) Well next year we have Buffalo, Florida Atlantic, and GA Southern. In 2013 we have Clemson, North Texas, and App State. The schedule sets up nicely, but also consider this. You cannot play Georgia State and GA Southern every year because you can only count one of those towards bowl eligibility.
4) Are you mental? Orgeron is a basket case and the NCAA is looking at him night and day and cannot wait to take him and the university that employees him down. Look at the infractions Tennessee is having to sit through and understand why this would be a bad hire. And on top of it, he and Coach Richt don't get along.
5) Yeah let's do the one thing that the SEC is trying to stop and the NCAA is looking at fixing. How about winning with integrity?
-Anon @ 4:44
ReplyDelete1) My problem with that is we are half way through the year and you are still talking about a unit being allowed to gel. We don't have until the end of the year and trust me Richt does not have that long. Also this gelling.....we are in Richt's 11th season here how much longer are we supposed to wait for him to produce sustained quality O-line play and depth. I mean I know so little of football but I just thought that if something is a problem over and over again and it is showing up again the the 11th season...well maybe it is a real problem.
2)Anything is better than what we had the past two seasons. However, we are not on par with teams like Alabama, LSU, Florida, Arkansas, and Auburn in terms of the science and modernizing of one of the most crucial aspects of a program. Just because last year we finally saw just how bad no rules, accountability, or scientific understanding in the S&C department could be doesn't mean promoting someone unqualified is a good enough answer. Maybe we are watching two different Bulldogs but I still see conditioning problems, I still see players getting gassed, and I still see our O-line carrying belly weight while others are carrying chest, arm, and shoulder muscle weight.
3)Here is where the humor is missed. I was being funny about the other Georgia schools. I like what McGarity is doing but I don't get Clampsun. We play a SEC schedule and Tech every year......we don't need anyone else more difficult than Troy.
4)Here a running theme on our blog and you would have had to listen to our podcast to really get it. Of course showing up and only reading a caption of what we do is the problem one has with running a blog. I don't care about the NCAA or their sanctions. They hammered Miami for years and Miami just kept coming back and winning again, sanctions again, winning again, etc.....It beats the heck out of never really winning at all.
5) Here we will just agree to disagree. You are limiting yourself and your program by clinging to some odd self-created moral boundary. It isn't cheating if everyone else is doing it....then it is just the industry standard. Bama, Auburn, LSU, Arkansas, basically the SEC as a whole are all doing it and if we don't we get left behind and we get to sit around with the Gsmecocks and talk about moral victories.
CC, every time I present more evidence of Bobo being a joke of an SEC coach, these same Anon idiots pop up.
ReplyDeleteReading this thing was like watching a turd dropping - slow and smelly - will be the last time I click on this "chase the ambulance" site - get a life my friend.
ReplyDeleteMr. Coleman who invited you to the circle jerk?
ReplyDeleteI was invited by an "Anonymous" poster, so I can't tell you.
ReplyDeleteCC, ever hear Neal Boortz's response to the "I'm never listening to you again" idiots?
I haven't Andy, so please share.
ReplyDeleteAnd you are always welcome here, just like all the asshat anons.
-Andy
ReplyDeleteBeen a while. Oh yes Anon. You may have the same problems we have:
1. One poster six personalities,and
2. Bobo's relatives
Do you have the Anon who has the black guy personality. He is may favorite....he uses sterotypical southern black dialect because we all write exactly like we talk.
I just found this site (new reader, a friend mentioned it). I pretty much agree with all Richt criticism I've seen from the guy who writes this. If Anon is serious about a UGA National Championship (and it's been 30 years), he might be wise to listen to this. Unless Anon is Mike Bobo. Only thing I disagree with is possibly Dan Mullen being a better choice than Gary Patterson, But if we really want to win an NCAA championship I think Richt has to go. I hate it, but it's the way it is.
