Mitchell is or isn't hurt, part deux

OK, so earlier at his PC, Richt said Malcolm Mitchell, our best outside threat offensively, practiced for maybe 5 minutes, with talk about him reinjuring his hamstring. Well Mark Weiszer spoke with Aaron Murray, and he makes it seem like Mitchell was just being precautious and will be good to go to the Party.
“I talked to him and he just said he felt a little tight and he just didn’t want
to push it anymore,” Murray said. “He wants to make sure he doesn’t do anything
to damage (it.) He wants to play Saturday extremely badly.”Murray said Mitchell
told him that he’s “good to go.”“They just don’t want to push it too much with
him right now and make sure he’s close to 100 percent by game time,” Murray
said. “He’s a competitor and I know he’s going to do whatever it takes to try to
get that thing as close to 100 percent as he can.”
Man, Saturday can't get here fast enough.

  1. I dunno, Senior Sanchez, but I like the Marlon Brown matchup on Cody Riggs. Also, when it comes down to blocking, I think Marlon is a bit better.

With Mitchell in the game they probably change the shell and put a safety over the top. With Brown....prolly not. So there is that aspect of it to consider.

    All in all......non issue.

Now let's get after that ass........

  2. True. But with Mitchell in the game equating to a safty in the game means less men in the box for Crowell. All these factors have to be taken into consideration. We are a much more balanced team with Mitchell on the field. I think out balance is what makes out offence better than UF's offense slightly. Any advantage we can use on Saturday we MUST use to bring home the win.
