And now on to the Heisman. Trent Richardson just lost his shot last night. Not that he played bad, but he didn't make his case as he would have with a game winning TD.
That leaves Andrew Luck as the primary contender, and he'll have his marquee moment Saturday against Oregon. If he shines in the bright lights against a weak D, he'll lock it up. You know he'll carve up Notre Dame in their last regular season game to make all the Yankees swoon.
The only other realistic contender is our old friend Kellen Moore. Horse teeth has the raw numbers with what'll likely be at least 50 wins in his career, if not more. He's gonna top 3000 yds, and have mid 30s-40 TDs, against 6 or 7 picks. If Luck stumbles down the stretch and Richardson doesn't step back up, he'll win by default.
With Murray's 5 td performance against the New Mexico State powerhouse team, he's a shoo in for the Heisman. 5 td's against Auburn, 6 against Kentucky, 5 against Tech. Strike the pose.
