An aside, we are big time fans of the young hustler, and think Pastner will eventually overtake Krzyzewski's win record wherever he sets it at. Losing Goodwin is a huge miss for Fox, but Pastner is gonna beat a lot of great coaches for the next several decades.

Son of a biscuit... Shaq Goodwin officially to Memphis, and hoops only
By signing in the early period, Shaq Goodwin killed the long rumored desire to pull double duty. By signing a basketball LOI, NCAA rules prohibit you from playing football for at least the first year. As a part player, making an impact on the hard wood is difficult if not impossible. But full time, the top 25 talent was a huge pickup for Memphis and Josh Pastner.
