Post game

Bobo looked great for a quarter before resorting back to his herpaderp.

The refs were horrible, but that's not why we lost. Well, not really (hard to say how momentum goes if those blocks in the backs are called on the initial TD).

Grantham's D played great, now let's hope he isn't poached by Penn St or A&M or Ole Miss, etc.

Let's hope Bobo is poached by UAB or Ole Miss or someone.

That onside kick was ballsy, great call Richt.

Gary and Verne made "neutral observer" announcing a joke.

Keith Marshall, come on down. And bring Todd Gurley with you please.

The OL did great, for about 20 minutes, then what we were scared of happened and the quickness of LSU's DL took over.

The drops ultimately made a big difference. If it's 21-0, or 21-7, instead of 10-7, that's a different game. But it was, and we saw why LSU is the best team in the country.

Frosted tips are ugly.

As good as Coach T has done motivating, LSU was just bigger, stronger, and faster. Maybe that's oversigning, but some more tweaks in S&C would be a good idea.

LSU still shouldn't have to beat Bama, again, for their title. Come on T Boones, blow out the Chokers and make your case.

  1. MR Personality, Grantham, going no where.

    Bobo... Really... Fire his ass!

You run the SEC East next year but get demolished in Tuscaloosa in October - another top 15.

Crowell soft, Richt soft and Bobo....well, we all know.

88, old dog, Dawginlex, etc...homers, see you in Peach a-holes.

And we have a #25 recruiting class coming in.

Time to clean the slate and start over! Please bring back Jim Donnan!!!

  5. Someone please hire Bobo. My god.

I think just like CTG needed 2 years to make his mark, our new S&C crew will need 2 years.

Now I'm left with the lament of sad college football fans of yore..... "next year..."

  6. No Peach Tex, I'm pretty sure SEC rules on bowls say we can't fall below the Outback because aside from Arkansas and SC, no team has the wins to go above us.

  7. ROP's...
ESPN headlines read: "LSU blows out Georgia in 2nd half to win SEC title game".....can I please have Donnan back?

  8. Arguably not bro.
Where's your recruiting class this year?
    Sanchez, are you settling???

  9. Hopefully the recruiting class gets back in high gear with Keith Marshall this week. Then Gurley or Chris Brown, plus a stud OT and some strong DBs.

And not settling. I saw Richt return to the fire and man who was winning his first 5 years. We took steps in the right direction, and I want to see continued steps in that direction (addressing the O, continued improvement and investment in S&C, continued accountability, etc).

  10. S&C will need 2 more years as Muckbeast said...people that think the offseason was going to be a 180 degree turn around are delusional. Bam a and LSU haven't had several years off like we have. It takes time but at least we are going in the right direction. Bobo....Crowell was 10 for 15 yards.....Really?

  11. I know they do this a lot with race horses, but is Crowell going to have to be put down after the game? Sad.

LSU and Bama are also proof of the benefits of oversigning. They have fostered competition, cut dead weight, and kept the good players enough that their Ds are deep with talent.

  13. Honey Badger is gonna have blue balls from all the stroking Verne and Gary were giving him through the game. Kid won't be able to get outta bed tomorrow.

  14. I mean, my God, you'd think in light of the horrible Sandusky/Penn State situation they'd lay off the homosexual love of the young boys but no. Verne was laying it on hot and heavy. Glad he wasn't calling figure skating.

  15. I'm just glad I stuck to the cheap wine tonight. Saving the good Kirkland stuff for the bowl game.

  16. Donnan?!?!?!?! Donnan?!?!?!?!

You want to go to ZERO SEC championship games and lose to Auburn, Tennessee, and Ga Tech on a regular basis?

    Sorry, no.

Richt's only problem is he doesn't get rid of people who underperform and let him down. He is loyal to a fault.

He won't cut kids scholarships who suck, and he won't fire coaches who suck.

Don't get me wrong... that's a BIG problem. But after dumping Willie and VanHallanger, I have hope that maybe he's turning the corner.

Now he just needs to find Bobo a HC job somewhere in the offseason and get a real OC.

That combined with another full year of a better S&C system and maybe we can be back to the top next year.

    Maybe... :(

  17. Richt played for Schnellenberger at the U, maybe he can get his old coach to put in a good word for his OC and get the man the gig at Florida Atlantic.

  18. Bobo's not leaving Athens. Then he'd have to find a new church.
