“We all know what’s ahead, I don’t even need to say anything about it,” Georgia coach Mark Richt told his players in the locker room after Saturday’s game in footage aired on his weekly coach’s show. “I want you all to get as much rest as you can get, get your minds right, get your hearts right. It’s going to be a war in Jacksonville. … Just get ready. Coaches will be getting ready. I want y’all to get ready. You leaders, I want you to think about what this game means. You’ve been talking about it all offseason since January. ‘Our team, our time, no regrets.’ Well, here we are. We’re at the moment of truth.”
Saturday is the moment of truth. What team do we have?
Damn, my bad Tex. Hit the wrong button.
ReplyDeleteBasically, I hear you, but if the team decides to show up (remember in 2007, we didn't really wake up until this time of the year either), we can still accomplish our goals. People came back wanting championships, put up or shut up boys. It'd be nice to see us finally come to play in a big game.
Shawn Williams says we're soft!

Think anyone ever called Miller, Evans & Jones? The worst GA secondary ever.
ReplyDeleteKudos to Shawn Williams - put your best 11 on the field and play ball.
Williams is basically calling out his coaches - not his team mates. This is a young man desperately crying out that he wants to win, he leaves his nut sack on the field and wants his team to do the same!
Are you listening Richt???

Shawn Williams, "we're flat in practice".
ReplyDeleteWhat???
Who's fault is that?
Rescue me CC - this boy crying out!!
